Dr. Richard Davis began his education at the University of California at San Diego completing a BA degree in Biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Charleston, South Carolina and completed his residency in 1983 at the University of California, Irvine where he served as chief resident in his third year. Dr. Davis has also served as Chief of Pediatrics and Chief of Staff at Carolinas Hospital System and Chief of Pediatrics at McLeod Medical Center. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Davis has been with Eastern Carolina Pediatrics since 1983 and enjoys practicing general pediatrics in the Florence and Darlington areas.
He and his wife Barbara have four children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Keith received his B.S. in Chemistry from Howard University as well as his M.D. from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC.
He completed his Pediatric Residency at Duke University in Durham, NC. In 2019 he also received an Honorary Doctorate degree in Humanities from Francis Marion University.
Dr. Keith is in his 25th year of practice at Eastern Carolina Pediatric Associates in Florence and Darlington, DC. He served as Chief of Pediatrics at Carolinas Hospital System from 2010-2014 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at USC School of Medicine Columbia.
In his spare time Dr. Keith has also worked as a developer and has been instrumental in revitalizing multiple properties in downtown Florence and is responsible for the Florence Police Department Substation in downtown, WBTW TV-13 office space, ChocoBella, and many other properties in the Historic District.
Outside of practice, Dr. Keith enjoys and cherishes his family life with Amanda and their daughter, Isabella.
A native of Hartsville, S.C. Jennifer completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 1998 at the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing, Columbia. From 1998 – 2009 Jennifer practiced as a nurse practitioner in the Hartsville area caring primarily for pediatric patients. She joined ECPA in 2009. Jennifer is grateful for the opportunity to provide excellent pediatric care as a nurse practitioner at the ECPA Darlington site.
She and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters and reside in Hartsville, SC.
Sharon began her nursing career as a registered nurse on the Pediatric floor at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from MUSC in 2000. She received her Doctorate in nursing from Francis Marion University in 2019. A native of Florence, she has an extra special interest in the health and well-being of the Pediatric and Adolescent population in Florence, Darlington, and surrounding communities.
Michael Brandon Fowler began his career in nursing after serving 7 years in the United States Army on active duty and completing two combat tours to Afghanistan. After being honorably discharged, he attended Florence-Darlington Technical College and completed his Associate’s Degree of Nursing. He worked as an ICU nurse at both McLeod Regional Medical Center and MUSC Florence while obtaining his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Francis Marion University. He subsequently obtained his Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from FMU in 2022. Originally from Florida, he has been a resident of Florence for over 10 years. He and his wife were blessed with their son, Luke, in 2022, and a daughter, Zoe, in 2024. In his free time he enjoys working out and spending time with his family.
